Heavy Rate Springs For FOX Shocks

Scout Gregory 14/05/2018 28 Comments
FOX make some of the best dampers on the market, and we really rate their DHX2 coil shock.

Unfortunately due to the shocks design, FOX's own steel springs with heavier spring rates (550lbs, 600lbs & 650lbs) do not fit the shock as they are too long. This has left many heavier riders wondering what to do!

Luckily our titanium springs fit with ease, so you can order the correct spring size and rate for your shock!

Check out our full range of titanium springs here.

Hey I am in a very unique position in which we are looking at getting 4 dhx2 shocks for our baja (one for each corner) in order to get the desired rear frequency we need around 700lbs coils for the 10.5 x 3.5 size. Is that possible? Can we go heavier?

admin 18/07/2018

Hi Ryan Thank you for your comment. We don't produce 700lbs/in rate springs as standard, but can custom produce these for you no problem. If you need a higher spring rate this is also no problem! If you are interested in ordering these, then please email us as sales@ti-springs.com and we will be able to let you know prices. I hope this helps. Regards Scout @ Ti-Springs.com

Hi, I used your calculator and I would need a 613 lbs spring for my DHX2 2.25 stroke. I am 218 lbs with a frame travel of 5.91 inches and a shock stricken of 2.25. Is it available and what would be the cost? Thanks, Frederic

admin 25/07/2018

Hi Frederic Thank you for comment. The closest rate spring we produce as standard to a 613lbs/in rate spring is a 600lbs/in rate spring. We can custom produce you a 625lbs/in rate spring however for an additional cost. If this interests you, then please email us at sales@ti-springs.com for prices. I'm afraid we don't currently have any 600lbs x 2.25" 35mm ID fitment titanium springs in stock, so you will need to Pre Order, here: https://www.ti-springs.com/category/ti-springs Price start from just 100.00 for our standard Grade 5 titanium Ti Spring and 150.00 for our newer, lighter, Beta-C titanium Race Ti Spring. I hope this helps. Regards Scout @ Ti-Springs.com
